AsReader is a UHF band RFID scanner which connects directly to iPhone/iPad/iPod
touch devices including
iPhone® 5/5s/SE, 6/6s/7, 6+/6s+/7Plus, iPod Touch® 5th/6th Gen & iPad® Air2 & Pro9.7. When connected with the
iPhone/iPod touch, the RFID AsReader is a world-class thin and compact
product. Small enough to fit into a
shirt pocket, the RFID AsReader complies with the IP54-compliant 1.5m
drop resistance standard, and thus functions like a protective
case for very easy and versatile handling.
The compact RFID AsReader can read multiple IC tags from a 1 meter
distance, and can also write information on the tags, thus making it very suitable
for process management, inventory control, tracking and other
applications. Since installation is
simple, the RFID AsReader can be connected to the iPhone only when necessary
and can be used conveniently in various operating environments.
Simple and Convenient
The RFID AsReader
uses the genuine Apple certified Lightning connector to connect to the iPhone
and iPod touch, thus communications are highly reliable, and connectivity is
very simple. The RFID AsReader app is
automatically pre-installed, so there are no concerns about pairing with the
iOS devices, and usage and installation are enabled with one touch.
In addition, because the RFID AsReader uses a charging system that
can be attached with a magnet,
installation and charging can be performed very simply. Due to the one-touch installation design,
damage to the terminals is avoided, and charging can be performed at a speed
that does not vary from the charging speed via the Lightning standard connection. In addition to the one-touch style cable
(standard) the charger is also available as a pad type option.
The RFID AsReader can be used while retaining full access to the iOS and
iPhone functions. For example, even in a
remote location where WiFi network access is not available, the iPhone 3G or
LTE networks can be used, thus enabling the scanned data to be transmitted to a
computer data base. Further, by
downloading applications released by Asterisk and 3rd party
companies from the Appstore, and utilizing our free SDK, you can develop native
applications which will enable you to utilize the RFID AsReader as a handy
terminal that augments your company’s systems.
