Be wary of hotel solicitations

February 07, 2010

It has come to my attention that unscrupulous companies have been calling folks participating in RFID Journal LIVE! and saying that they have a relationship with RFID Journal can offer discount hotel rooms for the event. These companies have no relationship with us and are extremely sleazy.

Please send an email to livereg@rfidjournal.com if you get a call like this. The Hilton Orlando is the official hotel and it is important for the health of the event that attendees and exhibitors use the event hotel. We've negotiated a special rate of $189.

Also, if you call the hotel and they tell you it is sold out, tell them you are part of the RFID Journal LIVE! event. We have blocked most of the rooms in the hotel, which is why they are telling anyone not associated with the event that it is sold out.

If you have any questions, you can call Kathy Knocker, 631-249-4960.

Thanks.
